The price was right and the location was decent. The staff was great, the gentleman was very kind, and told us where to park if the parking-lot was full, which was a relief under such circumstances.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

We had a pleasant stay with our two kids, enjoying the comfortable room and the great location near downtown Sacramento. After exploring the nearby parks and biking trails, it was nice to return to a clean space with a fridge to store snacks.
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly food options available.

The stay was cozy with a microwave and fridge in the room, which made things a lot easier for us. There are some nice spots to relax, like the small lounge area and a lovely terrace for some fresh air. The area felt a little rough in the evenings, but we walked around during the day and really enjoyed our time. 😊

The room was decently big with a fridge and microwave. I actually felt safe at night, which is a bonus, and the free WiFi was reliable for my Netflix binge!
But let’s just say the bathroom could really use some love—like a makeover and maybe some rosemary essential oil for the weird smells?

The place was satisfactory for the price, as the room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. However, the outside noise and some questionable guests made it hard to forget the sketchy vibe. Still, a hot shower and good internet were nice touches.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds felt kinda dated but had some redeeming features. The staff was friendly and helpful, which was nice. The room was clean, but I noticed they were remodeling, so it might get better. The mattress was pretty worn out, definitely not the best sleep I've had. The room wasn't terrible, just a bit rough around the edges.

My stay at Capital City Inn was a mixed bag. Checking in was easy, and the staff were friendly. The room had comfortable beds, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the convention center, which was a huge plus. However, the room had a strange smell, something like a cleaner that didn’t quite do the job. The bathroom could use some attention, as there were signs of wear and the towels felt a bit rough. I also noticed a lack of basic accessories, like an iron or coffee maker, which would have been helpful. The elevator was tiny and had a funky smell too. Overall, my stay was decent, but a little upkeep and better amenities would make it much better for future guests.

The room was clean and had a convenient microwave and fridge, which I loved! I was impressed with the hardwood-look floors, though the bed size was not as advertised. I would stay again for the price, but double-check the bed size next time.

missingWrote a review on Jan 25comfortable bedhelpful staffdirty carpetunsafe neighborhoodlack of breakfast
A recent stay revealed the basics were satisfactory, including a clean and comfortable bed and effective temperature control. Staff assistance was notable, providing helpful parking tips. The absence of breakfast options was a downside, and the neighborhood felt unsafe, while the rooms showed some wear like dirty carpets and smudged walls. For the price paid, it aligns with expectations, but improvements could enhance the experience significantly.
